ABSTRACT
Vrukonda Nagalaxmi, Turlapati NagaRaju., Model
docking of human indoleamine 2,3
dioxygenase to Adhatoda vasica,
Biophytum sensitivum and Caesalpinia bonduc for prevention
of cataract. Onl J Bioinform.,
18(1):39-46,
2017. Gas chromatography and mass spectrometry was
used to identify compounds present in ethanolic
extracts of Adhatoda vasica, Biophytum sensitivum and Caesalpinia bonduc, docked In silico to indoleamine
2,3 dioxygenase which has a role in causing cataract. Results
suggested that of 15 compounds tested, Androstane 3,17-dione had greatest binding affinity with Indoleamine 2, 3 dioxygenase.
Key words: Cataracts, Model, Docking, Indoleamine
2, 3 dioxygenase.
