In-silico inhibition of telomerase associated
proteins, Online J Bioinformatics, 12(2):243-254, 2011. KIP, p23 and NHP2 protein are associated with telomerase RNA
subunits TERC and TERT. Over-expression of these proteins leads to
carcinogenicity in humans. Prediction and validation of protein tertiary
structures, and docking and ADME analysis was performed with drug like
molecules. Results suggested that zinc_04794736, 45323900 and 04543942 from NCBI
which bind with p23, NHP2 and KIP protein respectively, could provide
a base for a cancer drug. Quinine sulphate may inhibit KIP and NHP2 and tumor proliferation.
