ABSTRACT

Malekian A, Tadjalli M.,  Gross anatomy of adrenal gland of male and female Indian gray Mongoose ( Herpestes edwardsii), Onl J Vet Res., 20(10):633-637, 2016.  According to authors, there is no literary description of gross anatomy of adrenal glands of Indian gray mongoose.. Three male and female glands are described macroscopically.  The adrenal glands appeared regularly shaped, lacking acute angular borders, prominent notching, and frequently bi-lobed appearance of these glands in other animals. Mongoose adrenals are anatomically similar to those in the cat and dog typical of Carnivora.
