treatments for ailments in cattle from 32 locations in India are reported.

aspera, Adhatoda vasica, Aloe vera, Annona squamosa, Azadirachta indica, Bombax ceiba, Calonyction muricatum, Calotropis gigantean, C.
Procera, Carum carvi, Chrozophora rottleri, Cissus quandragularis, Cleome gynandra, Coriander
sativum, Cuminum cyminum, Datura communis, Eclipta alba, Ficus religiosa, Helicteres isora, Lawsonia inermis, Lepidium sativum, Leucas sephalotes, Nicotiana tabaccum, Ncytanthes arbor-tristis, Ocimum sanctum, Ricinus communis, Sorghum vulgare,
Terminalia chebula, Vernonia
anthelmintica Vitex negundo, Xanthium strumarium and Ziziphus nummularis. Most common forms were leafs,
seeds, bark, flower and buds roasted,
powders, pastes, mucilage, decoctions, poultice, juices and oils. Common
ailments included bronchitis, mastitis, ecto and endo
parasites, wounds, myasis, constipation, diarrhea,
fractures and hoof disease.
