ABSTRACT

Shanmugam R, Mani K, Vijay Kumar B., Fomecin antiviral for Hepatitis C, Onl J Vet Res., 28 (10): 733-746, 2024.  Non structural proteins of hepatitis C virus NS3-4A are required for polyprotein processing and replication and thus target against infection. We report natural lead compound as target by modeling NS3/4A complex docked with serine protease inhibitors.  Benzamidine with compounds isolated from fungal order Aphyllophorales.compounds that are related Benzamidine are docked with Discovery studio. Based on the docking scores the lead compound was selected against NS3/4A, following that adsorption and distribution were tested by ADME /TOX.

Key words: Hepatitis c virus, Docking, TSAR, and ADME/TOX, serine protease inhibitors.
