ABSTRACT
Mojaver M, Imani S, Panahi HA, Talebi K., Magnetic nanoparticles
for determination of diazinon in apples, Onl J Vet Res.,
19(11): 721-731, 2015. iron modified-magnetic cibracon blue coated nanoparticles (MNP) were used for
magnetic solid-phase (MSPE) sorbent extraction for determination of diazinon residue in apples. Test results were compared with
high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Optimal conditions were 25ºC for
20 min with acetonitrile yielding maximum diazinon
with 1/1mg/g MNP and dichloromethane 98.2%. Pesticide recovery with MNP was a low 54-64% (not
acceptable), compared with 87% for HPLC.
Key words: diazinon residue, cibacron blue, modified
magnetic nanoparticles, magnetic solid phase extractin,
high performance liquid chromatography
