Vet Res., 20(4):276-278, 2016. Effect of site of semen
deposition on conception rate in 1058 multiparous Holstein dairy cows is
described. 656 cows were artificially inseminated in uterine body and 402 in
uterine horns. Conception rates from cows inseminated in horns were
statistically (P<0.01) higher (38.8%) compared with those inseminated into
the uterine body (29.6%).
