ABSTRACT
Salehi M, Razavilar
V, Mirzaei H, Javadi A, Banan Khojasteh SM., Coagulase
polymorphism in Staphylococcus aureus from dairy products, Onl
J Vet Res., 17 (6): 310-316, 2013. Polymorphism in coagulase gene of Staphylococcus aureus
isolated from raw milk, butter, ice cream and cheese is reported. The gene from
116 S. aureus isolates produced 4 PCR products of 600bp to 850bp. RFLP with
AluI restriction enzyme grouped the isolates into 5 genotypes
and 2 of S. aureus accounted for 63.7% of isolates.
Key words: Molecular
typing, Staphylococcus aureus, dairy products, polymorphism, coagulase
gene.
